1/5/09 - Congress returns this week
Congress will convene for the first time in the New Year on Tuesday, January 6 when the 111th Congress is scheduled to be sworn in. On January 20, President-elect Barack Obama and Vice President-elect Joseph Biden will be sworn in to office. House and Senate leaders have made preliminary decisions about Committee leadership, although committee assignments will not be finalized until after Congress convenes on January 6th. Read more

12/23/08 - FAMM hails additional presidential clemencies
FAMM applauds President Bush for issuing 19 pardons and one commutation today, his second round of grants since November. The commutation recipient is Reed Prior, a FAMM member serving a mandatory life sentencing for selling methamphetamine. Read press release
